The paper work is drawn up on a canvas and on a stretcher frame so that the work can be hung up immediately.
"Aqua Materia Art" is a technique specially developed by the artist. It is based on the "Ebru art" of painting on the surface of the water. Here, however, the materials are used differently than usual in Ebru art. The materials are based on a purely natural basis.

Silvia Bener is an experienced German artist who lives and works in Istanbul. Her paintings and installations have been exhibited internationally in Germany, China and Iceland. In her art, she incorporates insights from quantum physics and phenomena from Sufism, exploring the origins and dimensions behind our visible world. Painting on the surface of water, Bener develops her distinctive art. She coined the term Aqua Materia Art for it. In doing so, Silvia Bener directs the painting on the water surface with the creative power of water and finally emphasizes structures created by painting with a brush on paper.
