De la serie " Autorretrato 2020" Autorretrato realizado durante la pandemia en mi hogar, Buenos Aires.
Durante la Pandemia en el año 2020 comence a realizar esta serie, cada dia una fotografia. Muchas veces al amanecer, con las primeras luces del nuevo dia. Mi estudio era mi jardin, en solitario cuando todos dormian aun. Me sentia libre y entusiasmada por mi nuevo trabajo fotografico. Tal vez por eso utilice una mascara de conejo que se repitieron… luego en otras fotografias.
Impresion en papel de algodon de alta calidad y permanencia, museologica. Firmada y numerada al dorso. Certificado de autenticidad.

Silvina Batista (Argentina, 1973) is a contemporary fine art photographer whose work explores identity, inner states, and symbolic landscapes through stages of photography and poetic self-portraiture.
Rooted in a conceptual approach, her practice uses the body as a narrative device, constructing images that oscillate between presence and absence, intimacy and distance. Her photographs evoke silent atmospheres, where light, gesture, and space become carriers of emotional and symbolic meaning.
Batista's work has been exhibited in Argentina and internationally. Her artistic book of self-portarits is part of the permanent collection of The Center Ceramique Library in Maastricht, the Netherlands. She has been recommended by Singulart Gallery for presentation to galleries participating in Paris Photo, reinforcing the international projection of her work within the contemporary photography scene.
She currently lives and works in Argentina.
