About this artwork
In creating this digital work, I wanted to combine the charm of beautiful art with a touch of bold pop art and playful symbolism. The rabbit mask is a powerful contrast to the elegance of the classical portrait, evoking a sense of mystery and curiosity. This piece talks about the alter ego that each of us hides, inviting the viewer to smile. Bringing this work home, lively energies and a handshake between past and present will liven up any room.
Slasky
Italy
« Art is not representing new things, but representing with novelties. »
Slasky is an established artist from Italy whose works have been featured in solo and group shows internationally. Fascinated by Caravaggio's The Conversion of San Paolo as a child, Slasky dedicated himself to a life of painting, merging classical works of art with contemporary digital art techniques. With his neo urban classic style, he bridges tradition and modernism, bringing protagonists of the original works of art into contemporary social and artistic environments.
