About this artwork
I have always wondered why horses in paintings are almost always represented at the sea, among the waves,
very cool strong and beautiful; it's such a stereotypical, glossy and exaggerated image. In this work, however, the
horse is not like that at all. He has short legs, his body is too long and he wears ankle boots instead of irons
blacks. A golden arrow pierces his skin, letting out fluorescent blood while on the other side of the
river a motorized… chair for the elderly awaits him. Although all this is surreal it seems more true to me and
sincere cool horse
