About this artwork
This work is born from my deep admiration for the human figure and the symbolic nature that surrounds it. I wanted to convey a sense of serenity and mystery, using the contrast between vibrant blues and golden textures to create a dialogue between the earthly and the spiritual. Having it in your home will fill your space with an introspective and magical energy that invites contemplation.
Sol Halabi
United States
Sol Halabi's work fuses the figurative realism of the female face with experimental techniques: oil, pigments, waxes, marble dust, and gold leaf applied in an alchemical process. Her pieces inhabit a threshold between reality and dreamlikeness, evoking a contemplative, intimate, and ambiguous atmosphere. Each work invites us to pause, to connect with the essence and mystery of humanity.
