About this artwork
Mystique Garden is a series inspired by the collective imagination of Japan. It is a fantasy where references appear to the black stains of sumi-e painting, the landscapes typical of Japanese prints and the pink of cherry blossoms. The work on the canvas is based on stains that are diluted and mixed, creating a kind of material effects that invite us to flow and let ourselves go, thus awakening our senses.
In my work there is always an element of… meditation, of listening to the painting, and I like the viewer to have the freedom to do the same and to be able to live his own fantasy based on the fantasy I have created.
