Eclipsed Nº III is a visual odyssey—an intricate interplay of swirling blue hues, dynamic motion, and emotional duality. It flows between chaos and calm, reflecting the tension between the world’s demands and the quiet pull of inner truth. The eye is never still; it’s led in endless loops and curves, as if searching for something more—for meaning, for self, for authenticity. This piece is deeply personal. It reflects… my own journey—leaving behind the polished façades and performative perfection of the corporate world, where interactions often felt hollow, scripted, "fake." In stepping away from that space, I stepped toward myself. Through painting, I’ve found a new language—one that doesn’t require approval or masks. Eclipsed Nº III is both a letting go and a becoming. It honors the power in vulnerability, the beauty of the unfiltered, and the courage it takes to choose truth over appearance.

Sonia J. is a contemporary abstract painter whose work operates beyond the white cube.
