"Emerald Lush" - is a celebration of blue-greens in its most extravagant form — a painted symphony where maximalism meets the grounding force of nature. Built with gesso, sand paste, oil pastel, and acrylics, the work is a feast of texture and depth. Every layer tells its own story: the gesso forms the structural bones, sand paste adds a raw, earthy grit, oil pastels weave in luminous accents, and acrylics saturate the canvas in vivid, enduring color.… Deep forest, rich jade, and bright chartreuse merge with metallic glints that catch the light like morning dew on leaves. The tactile surfaces invite the viewer’s fingertips to imagine the sensation of moss under bare feet or the brush of dense jungle foliage. The Blue-Greens here is not passive. Sonia J. is a contemporary abstract painter whose work operates beyond the white cube.
