About this artwork
“Iris”; In this work, I immersed myself in the delicate beauty of irises, capturing their essence with impressionistic touches and vibrant colors. The acrylic allowed me to play with light, while the gilding adds a dimension of luxury and warmth. It's a celebration of nature, created to infuse energy and emotion into any space.
The flowers are blue/purple, on a golden/yellow ochre/natural sienna background; Shimmering, it varies depending on the… direction of the light. In the photos I have also shown the work with and without the Sun.
I painted the chamfers in a color closest to the golden background.
