About this artwork
In this work, I explore the figure of the manipulator, of the deceptive discourse that insinuates itself and ensnares. The distorted, almost possessed face expresses an inner tension where words become a trap. The serpent, an ancient symbol of cunning and duplicity, coils around the head like a toxic thought that refuses to let go.
Through raw materials and expressive impasto, I seek to reveal what lies behind appearances: seduction, fear, and the… power of words. This painting questions our relationship to truth, influence, and those invisible forces that shape our choices without our full awareness.
