The Discourse explores the power of words when they cease to be sincere and become tools of influence.
The face, distorted by inner tension, seems to speak endlessly, as if caught in an uncontrollable mechanism.
Through raw and expressive material, I wanted to translate that moment when language detaches itself from truth, when discourse becomes a facade, repetition, or even manipulation.
This work is part of a broader reflection on modern communication:… lots of words, but a progressive loss of meaning.

Steeve Grangier is a self-taught Swiss painter and sculptor who creates his art outside of academic circles, exploring oil paints, impasto, and organic elements. His technique is rooted in a raw and figurative neo-expressionism, using materials, expressive distortions of the body and face, and spontaneous gestures to convey the instability of existence.
