About this artwork
This work is inspired by observing storks, familiar companions in my homeland that herald the arrival of spring each year. From an initially ornamental-realistic representation, an increasingly free and dynamic visual language developed during the creative process, leading me deep into a surreal dream world—a world where the laws of nature are not suspended, but gradually blur together.
The intuitive discovery of a hidden face within the composition… was consciously pursued and integrated into the landscape with natural elements. This creates a symbolic layer between nature, consciousness, and inner perception, inviting contemplation, immersion, and dreams.
Flowing lines and organic structures create the impression that even the sky is permeated by water. The water's surface and the atmosphere seem to dissolve into one another, creating a dreamlike space.
