my intent was to use one of my favorite subjects, trees, to communicate a universal message, developing a metaphor of the human and personal condition.
In fact, just like trees, we too have two halves, one stretching upwards, ideals, spirituality, the search for something of a greater plan, of God... and this is the foliage, stretching towards the sky, the sun, life. It is the soul... but since we are also made up of mind and body... the other half,… the roots of the tree, are the mind and our body, the legs, in contact with the earth. This part serves us to achieve things on earth, during life, in matter, in relationships etc... just like the tree, to make it work best we should root ourselves in the present moment, unite with the earth, with the environment with everything. In this work I used the vertical panning technique to create a blurred effect in which trunks and snow blend together, creating a fluid and poetic hetero effect
Stefano Lunardi interprets art as a photographer, fusing commerce and expression with a clean and minimalist look. He prefers black and white and abstraction, yearning to capture the essence hidden in the visible. His works are vibrant with pure emotions, evoking introspection and connection with being.
