About this artwork
In the photograph you can glimpse the life force of the trees, a light that shines through the branches like an eye observing the world. I hope it brings an energy of tranquility and reflection into homes, stimulating those who observe it to connect with the simplicity and depth of life.
It is a digital shot processed with photoshop in post-production, I eliminated all the disturbing elements to make a clean, almost abstract image, extracted from… the landscape context to give prominence and strength only to the tree.
my intent was to use one of my favorite subjects, trees, to communicate a universal message, developing a metaphor of the human and personal condition.
In fact, just like trees, we too have two halves, one stretching upwards, ideals, spirituality, the search for something of a greater plan, of God... and this is the foliage, stretching towards the sky, the sun, life. It's the soul
