I stand before the canvas, and freedom is my greatest tool. My painting, "The Decision Is Free," is more than just a composition—it's a reflection of this fundamental choice. What's special about this work is its radical freedom of presentation. The decision of how the painting hangs on the wall lies entirely in the viewer's hands. There is no top, no bottom in the classical sense. Each of the four sides is a potential hanging position. This freedom…
isn't just a gimmick; it's deeply rooted in the design. The motif itself is painted from four different directions. In keeping with this idea, the painting possesses four distinct horizons, which reveal themselves anew depending on the orientation. View it from the left, from the right, from above, or from below: the painting allows for four readings, four perspectives, without defining any one as the correct one. In terms of color, I work within a canon that celebrates and breathes nature: reds, yellows, and greens.
