About this artwork
My work is a powerful, structured exploration of the power of money, provocatively titled "Moneten Lisa." It is about value and desire in the economic age. The oil paint surface is rough. I deliberately created strong structures through thick, impasto layers. Bold colors applied with a palette knife—bright and aggressive—symbolize the harshness and struggle of the financial world. There is no softness; the texture is a visible expression of the material… struggle. The image content depicts stylized people, abstracted forms that point to the anonymization of the individual within the system. They are integrated into the structure of the painting, almost trapped within it. The geometric accents are striking: red strokes in each corner. This rhythmic red is the color of greed, risk, and urgent power. The lines bracket the scene, serving as warning signs and visual boundaries.
It's time for a break! No further work will likely be released in 2026.
Art is many things, but not everything!
For me, art has no fixed price, but rather an incomparable, profound, and genuine value. I want my work to be accessible to everyone. Art should inspire, uplift the spirit, and help us to more consciously appreciate the complexity of life—this is the foundation of my work. My artistic journey began in the wild 80s with the raw energy of graffiti. Over the years, I found my way to the free, multifaceted forms of abstract painting. My paintings arise from the psychological power of vibrant colors and a deep connection to human stories. I fuse these elements into works that invite introspection. Each painting is the unfolding of a visual narrative. My art is more than skill; it is an authentic expression of myself.
