About this artwork
Emotions determine and show our emotional state and also the changing emotions, and recently I had the idea to draw a series of five emotions in my very own style. This picture describes "valuing" and is colorful, yet a little dark, because "valuing" is not something I can identify as a characteristic in my own life. But it is a characteristic that is part of everyday life for many people with few emotions. Simply taking something in and respecting… it without judging it would be nicer, and the picture could remind everyone that attitude is one of the not-so-nice emotions in our society.
It's time for a break. No further work is expected to be released in 2026. Art is many things, but not everything. For me, the value of art cannot be measured in fixed categories. It possesses an incomparable, profound, and authentic value. I want my work to be accessible to everyone. Art should inspire, invigorate the mind, and help us to more consciously appreciate the complexity of life—this forms the basis of my work. My artistic journey began in the turbulent 1980s with the raw power of graffiti. Over time, I discovered the free, multifaceted forms of abstract painting. My paintings arise from the psychological impact of vibrant colors and a deep connection to human stories. I fuse these elements into works that invite inner reflection. Each painting unfolds a visual narrative. My art is more than skill; it is my authentic expression.
