About this artwork
My painting depicts a dominant, impasto, white circular form in the central area, which stands out clearly against the multi-layered, intensely colored background. Vertical gradients of red, blue, and orange flow downwards around this circle, creating a strong sense of gravity and flow. In the surrounding areas, ornamental-abstract structures, grids, and symbols appear, reminiscent of graphic codes, architectural fragments, and organic patterns.…
The surface appears to be built up in multiple layers: glazes, drips, stenciled textures, traces of rubbing, and overpainting create a dense texture.
Overall, a warm, luminous color spectrum dominates, punctuated by cooler blue and turquoise tones. The symbols and structures at the edges resemble visual notations or an archaic script, as if uncovering a previously unknown alphabet. Both paintings (Passage and Breakthrough) thus explore transitions: from chaos to order.
