About this artwork
In this work, I reflect on the shifting boundaries that shape our inner and outer worlds. Our perceptions, thoughts, and emotional frameworks are not fixed, they evolve through experience, culture, and memory. Yet they quietly define how we see, feel, and connect.
The figure is enclosed within a fragile, curling frame, a symbol of the mental and emotional structures we inhabit. Sometimes protective, sometimes restrictive, these frames shape our… identity and influence our capacity for connection.
This painting is part of a larger series exploring how our individual frames can create both distance and intimacy. It is a contemplation of what it means to live, think, and relate from within a human perspective, one that is always in motion, yet never entirely escapable.
This original painting is created with high quality oil paint on premium linen. The work is carefully rolled and shipped in a tube. Upon arrival, the canvas can be stretched on a 60 x 100 cm frame.
