About this artwork
A large multi-coloured auroch dominates this picture. Inspired by the abstract artist, Joan Miro, who loved to use scarlets, blacks and contrasting whites in a lot of his pictures. It was his creation "Woman & Bird" , which decided my use of multi-colours on the auroch.
The rough wall effects, help make this depiction of an ancient cave painting more covincing. Prehistoric man could well have used… bright colours on their paintings, we were there at the time. The environments in the caves, together with light, could have faded the colours over the years.
A different picture that has a lot of charm.

I did, in time improve and was able to illustrate a few calendars and magazines.
On moving to the UK in 2007, I moved into painting landscapes and news items that caught my imagination. From 2012, I began to notice the works of the street artist Banksy. Other artists that I admire include Wassily Kadinski, Joan Miro and Pol Ledent.
