About this artwork
This large, bold painting was created from a memory of visiting the Rocky Mountains in Colorado where there were dramatic mountains with waterfalls and sunsets. It is created with acrylics on canvas. Because of the large scale it would be possible to remove it from the stretcher bars and send it rolled. A new stretcher frame would need to be constructed for it at the destination.

« I am intrigued by a particular set of ideas: the imagery of currents and creatures underwater and reflections on the surface, blossoms and leaves in the garden, swaths of stars zooming through space. »
