This tranquil coastal scene captures the harmonious relationship between human settlement and tropical paradise. A simple dwelling with a coral-orange roof nestles among palms and lush vegetation, overlooking serene blue waters. Majestic mountains rise in the distance under a soft, clouded sky, while distinctive trees frame the composition—their forms simplified into elegant silhouettes.
I was drawn to the peaceful coexistence of home and nature—how… dwellings can feel like natural extensions of the landscape rather than intrusions upon it. The muted, harmonious palette of coral, lavender, turquoise, and soft yellows creates a dreamlike atmosphere, evoking the gentle warmth of coastal life. This is paradise as lived experience, not spectacle.
Working in acrylics allowed me to build soft color transitions and create simplified forms that emphasize mood over detail. The gentle brushwork and balanced composition invite contemplation and rest.
