This exuberant tropical scene bursts with color and life, dominated by a majestic palm reaching skyward and an unusual purple-trunked tree anchoring the foreground. Vibrant hues of lime green, coral orange, turquoise, and violet flow across undulating terrain, creating a joyful symphony of pure color. Each plant form is outlined with energy and boldness.
I was inspired by the wild, untamed spirit of tropical forests—how color and form explode in… every direction, creating visual excitement at every turn. The purple tree trunk and orange-edged palm fronds push beyond natural observation into pure expression. This is nature experienced through feeling rather than fact, celebrating the sensory abundance of lush landscapes.
Working in acrylics allowed me to apply intense, unmixed colors with spontaneous brushwork. Bold outlines give each form distinct character while the vibrant palette creates rhythmic movement throughout the composition.
