About this artwork
The painting "Auf_bruch" (Departure) shows the interplay of the colors blue and white. Both colors are in motion – the white bursts powerfully out of the blue, bringing unrest, but also clarity. During this time, I found myself in a situation full of excitement and incomprehension. The painting is my expression of loneliness and moments of despair, but also of the strength that can arise from them. It was clear to me that I had to leave this situation,…
that I had to set out. My path became visible, and I had the strength to follow it. The circles with diameters of 27 cm and 11 cm correspond to my date of birth and show my position in the midst of this unrest. They embody my courage to find my own space in difficult times, a place where self-love can grow. Today I am following my path; it was and is a journey to new shores.
