About this artwork
Orange Bloom is an abstract depiction of a vibrant, blooming flower. It uses a combination of vivid colors such as deep red, orange, purple, and hints of green against a light or white background. The flower’s center is represented with rich yellows and speckles of black, creating a textured, almost pulsating core.
The petals fan outward in expressive, dynamic strokes, giving a sense of motion and energy. I used a fluid technique, with the paint… flowing and blending at the edges, creating gradients and transitions between the colors. This effect adds a feeling of organic growth and movement, almost like the petals are unfolding or radiating outward.
The dark frame around the piece provides a strong contrast, helping the bright colors of the flower pop.
