About this artwork
Susanna Andreini is a collector, a collector of moments, sentences, words, situations that she transforms into poetry. And she is a clown. As such, she loves nursery rhymes, word games, riddles. Every sentence on the canvas is a riddle.
A young woman speaks uncertainly about herself, not knowing herself yet. And yet: here she is!
Delicate and strong, so full of pink, so full of youth, so full of beauty. Herself? She doesn't know that.
- I am not… only an artist, I am also a mentor. As such, it is very important to me to empower young women.
This picture is also one of my essence portraits, it captures the essence of a moment with a person.
I am here is the sentence that is hidden here in the colors, just as the awareness of one's own wonderful presence is still hidden in so many young women.
May this image empower and delight all young women who are developing on their path to greater self-confidence and self-love.
