About this artwork
The poppy comes with spring on Mallorca. In the local language of the island: Roselles. The green of the almond tree meadow is lush. The air was still damp and hazy. The lush wildflower meadows are becoming increasingly rare and so this picture reminds us of the delicate beauty of wild meadows without agricultural toxins. Like all works by Susanne Wind, the picture is painted in egg tempera on canvas.

Susanne Wind is a prizewinning German painter who has exhibited internationally. Her work is centred on the relationship between man and nature.
