About this artwork
It's a dream of joyful summer while I was in the middle of working on a snowy cold day. It's a subtle suggestion of window panes revealing a different botanical in each.
I use high quality oil paints and materials, Belgian linen or eco friendly surfaces when possible. My painting technique consists of many tiny brushstrokes and is very labor intensive. It gives a beautiful surface to the paintings and a liveliness and luminosity that is achieved… by all the dots of color vibrating against each other.
