Sylvain Brault explores the fundamentals of art through painting and drawing, which he combines with photography, thread, and collage. He employs a variety of techniques, navigating between controlled chance, spontaneous gesture, and classical precision. His subjects are both abstract and figurative, often blurring the lines between the two.
His quest aims to capture the unique aesthetics that emanate from different aspects of life — living or inert nature.
