About this artwork
There is a little story behind this painting: my daughter had to recite what she had learned for an economics exam... So I was finally happy to have made it to my happy space, my studio, far from numbers and the "economic" world, while she sat on our old cozy sofa and recited things I had no idea about. So I started with some yellows and pinks, some uplifting colors, happy and bright...
Needless to say, my mind very quickly wandered into a very… non-economic space. The stairs in the picture seem to have crept out of an economic diagram my daughter was talking about... Stairs to the sun?...
Looking at these cheerful colors in the morning will help put a smile on your face and prepare you for the "business" part of the day...
