About this artwork
This painting is an abstract expression of the powerful force of the sea. It features a dynamic composition of brush strokes in ultramarine blue and orange, creating a contrast that conveys the strength and energy of a wave. The texture of the brush strokes is loose and free, with a sense of motion, while the subtle gradation of the colours gives the painting a sense of depth. The white background provides a light and airy feel, allowing the brush…
strokes to stand out and stand apart. This painting is a reminder of the beauty and power of nature, and the never-ending cycle of the sea.
