About this artwork
Zenpolychromo 44 is part of my ongoing series in which I explore color as a space for experience. Working with multiple transparent layers creates an open structure in which colors emerge, overlap, and recede again. No fixed motif forms, but rather a vibrant space of perception.
The luminous fields of color create a tension between movement and stillness. Depth is not achieved through perspective, but through the layering of color, in which time,… process, and change remain visible.
The artwork invites contemplation. With each viewing, perception shifts, and the colors seem to extend beyond the picture plane. In this way, a space is created that is not only seen but experienced.
Zenpolychromo 44 makes the immaterial qualities of color – energy, presence and connection – tangible.

My work moves between intuitive process and conceptual clarity. Through my ongoing series Zenpolychromos, I explore color as space, energy and experience. Using transparent layers, gesture and rhythm, I create paintings that invite contemplation. For me, color is not decorative but a living presence that opens a space between movement and stillness. Each work develops through a process of layering, reduction and intuitive decisions, creating compositions that balance emotional depth with visual clarity. Alongside Zenpolychromos, my collage series Fragmented Being explores identity, memory and transformation through reassembled visual fragments. My work invites viewers to experience color not simply as something to see, but as a space to enter. COLOR BECOMES SPACE.
