In crafting this piece, I sought to capture the essence of serenity and purity through the delicate interplay of light and shadow across each petal. The contrast drawn from the stark, dark background accentuates the gentle folds and smoothness of the white flowers, embodying a quiet, almost sacred delicacy. My aim was to evoke a deep sense of peace and contemplation, making this painting a serene addition to any space, inviting viewers to pause and…

At the same time, the symbolism of the Lotus flower is striking. Born in a muddy day, the lotus bud overcomes the water column and blooms at dawn under the first rays of the sun. Thus, it represents perfection, elegance and the desire for spiritual purity. The lotus is an image of the source of the world, productive power, and the unfolding of existence; it is a symbol of rebirth, beauty, life, happiness, purity, and spirituality.

In 2023, Tanya’s large-format painting "Full of Life" (oil on canvas, 150×100 cm) was presented at the London Art Biennale under the name Tetiana Rybina.
