About this artwork
"Acceptance" is the inaugural piece of the "Gravity" series. Featuring the sweeping branches of a willow, it embodies yielding rather than resisting. The willow does not argue with gravity; it accepts the downward pull, conserving strength for vital growth.
This bas-relief reflects on the value of imperfection and the freedom found in releasing the fear of being "incorrect." Visually, it offers a cool, transparent atmosphere—like a breath of fresh… air.
Crafted via indirect plaster casting, the original clay mold was destroyed during extraction, making this an irreplaceable monotype.
Specifications:
Relief: 35 × 35 cm
Framed: 50 × 50 cm
Framing: Wooden frame, neutral gray backdrop
Ready to hang

Tetiana Yalovets (Junipеr ) is a Ukrainian sculptor specializing in botanical bas-reliefs, creating heavy, textured wall sculptures for modern interiors. She uses live plants to leave exact imprints in clay matrices, filling the negative space with plaster to permanently capture the intricate details and textures of each specimen—a process that ensures each work is unique. Her art explores the deep connections between the botanical world and human memory, evoking contemplation, wonder, and reverence for the beauty found in nature’s quiet, imperfect moments.
