“DROP” is a mixed media work that captures a moment of introspection and silent strength. The figure delicately emerges from the white, textured surface, looking upwards as if searching for answers beyond the visible. The balance between realism and abstraction invites the viewer to contemplate both the subject’s external expression and her unexplored inner world.
The choice of a predominantly white palette symbolizes purity, silence, and transition,… while the thin brush strokes and layered textures give the work a tactile, almost ethereal quality. I wanted to create a sense of stillness—a pause in time where emotions are suspended and stories are suggested rather than told.
Inspired by themes of resilience and transformation, this work challenges the viewer to look more closely, to discover meaning in the tension between form and erasure.
