About this artwork
The main motif of this work is the statue of Ashura, a Japanese national treasure, a Buddhist statue that integrates the history of civilization as a modern idol. The pentagon on the pedestal represents the ruling power of the state and civilization, the tail represents the yin-yang of the Orient and the wisdom of the serpent, and the three faces represent the three aspects of monotheism. by the Indo-European-speaking peoples, the oldest layer of civilization, and reproduce the Egyptian and Greek walk. The hand signs are modern hand seals. This work expresses the historical structure of civilization, religion, and humanity as idols.
