About this artwork
This is a very literal piece, and one of the few of my works with a figurative slant and a strong narrative component. I created it with a clear invitation to the bee to enter my world, and she, in turn, treats me to a beautiful dance, and I rush to create a place for her where she feels comfortable. She has kindly allowed me to capture her in the image. She is a very polite, sociable friend, inspiring trust and affection.
