About this artwork
The work reinterprets the posture of Rodin's Thinker as a device of confinement and neurocognitive mimicry. The sculpture embodies the experience of integration and divergence through a clear structural opposition:
The Illusion of Uniformity: The outer shell, made of copper powder and plaster, simulates normality. It is the standardized interface with which the individual presents himself to the world: an apparent biological and behavioral homogeneity… that masks internal discrepancy. From the outside, the structure mimics an ordinary, static state. Ingredients: copper, plaster, acrylic, aluminum, resin.
The Diagnosis of the Tear: The real difference is revealed only in the chest wound, a visual symbol of the trauma experienced that shatters the shell. The crack reveals a deep cavity in acrylic resin, an isolated core saturated with a cryptic language: a dense calligraphic code, inaccessible and indecipherable from the outside.

ThaBlueCat, a self-taught Italian visual artist, combines painting, sculpture and symbolic language in his art. He uses techniques such as expressive divisionism and the use of translucent materials such as blue PETG for his sculptures, often backlit to symbolize an internal consciousness. His works explore the autistic condition, symbolized through the figure of the Blue Cat, trying to express themes such as perception, isolation and acute sensitivity. Emotions of tension, attention, introspection and resistance pervade his work, a resistant art form that speaks to those who feel out of step with the world.
