About this artwork
The universe is something mysterious, magical, infinite.
The universe is our home but at the same time the home of all galaxies, of our solar system. The universe is a superimposition of worlds, of spaces, of solid, gaseous and liquid elements. It is an unlimited space where the planets, comets, stars and the huge empty spaces that compose it are suspended, in eternal balance, separated by billions of km, thousands of light years. A space so large… that it is difficult to understand it, without understanding where it begins and where it ends.
Once I finished my first collection of collages, I decided to call it "Behind Universe".
Because the numerous overlapping layers led me to reflect on an immeasurable world where the different elements overlapped. I imagined what we could encounter if we left our Planet Earth. We will find those travel companions, the planets, the Sun, the stars...
This is Stella.

« What I love about my paintings is that they invite you to stop, to step out of reality for a moment and lose yourself in the colors. The vibrant use of color and its ability to touch the soul of the observer are the beating heart of the research that has always animated the work of Thia Path, an Italian-Argentine artist. Her works, deeply inspired by the colors and shades of Mark Rothko, have been welcomed with admiration in exhibitions in Italy, Switzerland, France and the USA. Her canvases, a mix of abstraction and figuration, vibrate with colors that not only speak, but weave an intimate dialogue with the soul of the observer. Thia Path tirelessly explores the boundaries of her artistic techniques, trying to touch the unconscious. Her works are a journey through nature, memories, dreams, experiences and emotions, a visual odyssey that challenges and enchants.
