About this artwork
This work features a collection of abstract, colorful shapes on a textured gray background. The shapes appear to float and interact with each other, creating a sense of movement and dynamism. The vibrant colors, such as red, blue, and yellow, contrast sharply with the neutral background, immediately capturing the viewer's attention. The black lines connecting some of the shapes add a graphic and structured dimension to the overall effect. This piece… can be interpreted as an exploration of the interplay between order and chaos, balance and imbalance. The choice of shapes and colors appears thoughtful, with each element playing a specific role in the overall composition. It is a work that invites contemplation and personal interpretation.
Thierry Buisson, a self-taught painter from Lyon, trained in the world of Joan Miro, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee and Picasso. In 2024, he was awarded a medal by the Academy of Arts, Sciences and Letters. Her technique is a rhythmic and instinctive combination of acrylic, pastel chalk and plaster. Her work falls within an expressive abstraction, inherited from cubism, where structure dialogues with emotion. Her abstract works invite the viewer to transcend words, creating a space for personal imagination. A proponent of automatism, where the artist gives free rein to their gesture without strict planning. His work is based on organic forms that suggest creatures or characters, without being realistic.
Theb develops a pictorial universe which he calls Lyromorphism.
