Thierry Parezys, trained at the Beaux-Arts de Dunkerque, is a visual photographer and conceptual artist who began his first works around fire and materials in the 1980s. His unique technique combines ephemeral installations, controlled combustion, pigments and photography printed on art paper, belonging to the materialist movement. Through his works, he expresses human duality in the face of doubt and resilience, inviting the viewer to feel the strength of refusing to give up and the intense beauty of persistence.
