About this artwork

In creating this digital photograph, I sought to capture the melding of urban grit with the fluidity of reflection. I chose a perspective that emphasizes the geometric interplay of lines and shapes, while the reflections on the glass suggest a hidden depth, hinting at a world beyond. The warm tones contrast with the coolness of the glass, creating an inviting yet enigmatic atmosphere. This piece speaks to the viewer's soul, offering a nuanced narrative… that promises to imbue any space with a sense of contemplative dynamism.

Thomas Dellert is an internationally renowned Swedish painter and photographer who has taken part in numerous solo exhibitions throughout the United States and several European nations. His works are featured in the permanent collections of the Holocaust Memorial Museum (Washington DC), Heinz, Mercedes Benz, Absolute Vodka and the Swedish Royal Family, to name a few. Combining satirical and historical elements, Dellert mixes painting, collage and graphic art to convey both the deep darkness and shining hope of humanity.
