Marilyn alone is a series of new works based on the images of the everlasting sex goddess, taken by Photographers like Milton Greene , Bert Stern and Leif Erik Nygards . They represent the symbol of a tragic Hollywood actress. Norma Jeane Baker or as we know her M.M.M.M . Marilyn Monroe Mortensen Miller.
Since Marilyn became a contemporary “Mona Lisa” - a symbol of a mysterious beauty hiding the real truth behind a smiling facade, she has… been used and misused in art and advertisement over and over again. We can only see her own projection of herself and fantasise the rest. Yes Marilyn was more than just a fantasy naturally, she was a real women privately of-cause . Without her blond wig and fake diamonds. She was often with powerful men in her bed.
But she would die alone , lonely..in the same bed, she had seduced them in.
Murdered by the same men in power she had given her body and soul.
