Entrambi hanno lavorato con i manifesti stradali smontati come strumento principale.
I ritratti ritraggono l'attrice italiana protagonista Monica… Vitti che ha iniziato la sua carriera negli anni '50 e si è affermata negli anni '60 con film di Antonioni come L'Avventura (1960) e Deserto Rosso (1964).
To coincide with Monica Vitti’s 90th birthday this week in November 2021 We here presents new Pop Art portraits
in the style of the 1960 art movement Nouveau Realism with Italian artists like Mimmo Rotella and French artists like Jacques Villeglé who I personally have met. Both worked with tear down street posters as their main tool.The portraits depict Italian actress Monica Vitti.
Thomas Dellert is an internationally renowned Swedish painter and photographer who has taken part in numerous solo exhibitions throughout the United States and several European nations. His works are featured in the permanent collections of the Holocaust Memorial Museum (Washington DC), Heinz, Mercedes Benz, Absolute Vodka and the Swedish Royal Family, to name a few. Combining satirical and historical elements, Dellert mixes painting, collage and graphic art to convey both the deep darkness and shining hope of humanity.
