About this artwork
Max Ernst (2 April 1891 – 1 April 1976) was a German painter, sculptor, graphic artist, and poet. A prolific artist,
Ernst was a primary pioneer of the Dada movement and Surrealism.
Max Ernst a surrealist artist that based his art on his own dreams and complexed inner life. I was already as a child fascinated by this weird and strange world of Max art. Later in life I bought one of his signed prints and I still have it. He is nearly not visible… at all in todays commercialized art world
but will still always be one of its masters.
