Monu-Mental
This is a series of photo montages based on Monumental architecture from different totalitarian corners of the world. Russia, North Korea, China, and some from the past like The Soviet Union or Nazi Germany. Structures created in a period of dreams of world domination. Has anything changed ? No, China and Russia are today threatening all of us in the free world the same way Stalin, Hitler and Mao did not so long ago. I have used again… my favorit Helmut Newton Nudes that will symbolise humans as we are, naked and vulnerable and fragile in contrast to the totalitarian machinery with all their weapons of mass destruction. Our world leaders and Dictators are all “Mental “ and dangerous egoists, therefore I call this series Monu-Mental.
