A cigarette is the perfect type of a perfect pleasure. It is exquisite, and it leaves one unsatisfied. What more can one want?

This new series of photo based artworks are a nostalgic dream vision of the seductive force of cigarettes. In the old days everyone with style was a smoker. You could not be taken seriously if you did not have a cigarette in your hand. I did. David Bowie did and all movie stars did. People smoke on TV… in hospitals and in all public buildings and places and in Bed. Smoking was an important part of life. And they all died of cancer. I have C.O.P.D. “Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease “ as a result of smoking heavenly cigarettes for over 50 years. It will eventually kill me. Like Freddie Mercury used to sing before he died “ Who wants to live forever ?”
And I still believe Smoking is Sexy.
