About this artwork
In my artwork I mix digital and analog techniques to create a hybrid experience. Colors play a central role in the modern style, where I use vibrant tones to create a dynamic mood. Photography forms the basis, which is abstracted through digital processing. This image is intended to bring energy and movement into every room and represents joy of life and the beauty of the fleeting.

« Photography is my personal view of things through the eye of the camera. »
Thomas Eigel is a German photographer whose works have been widely exhibited in both Belgium and Germany. He likens the photographic process to that of a cat on the hunt for a mouse, trying to catch the subject at the right moment, in the right place, and in the perfect light. Eigel believes that is it a privileged moment when the camera is released, allowing the seemingly objective world to coagulate into a subjective image.
