About this artwork
In my watercolor work I capture a play of colors and shapes that come together in an abstract landscape. The flowing transitions and bright tones create energy and movement, almost as if you were capturing a dream on paper. I wanted the viewer to lose themselves in the soft green and warm orange nuances that exude a mood of freedom and creativity. This work of art will bring a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere to any home.

Thomas Hain, a visual artist who focuses on painting and was inspired by a formative encounter with art in Italy. He experiments with the glazing technique on heavy, self-stretched canvases and creates relief-like surfaces by scratching, rolling and spatulas that create a tangible tension between form and color.
