About this artwork
“Elegance and Mystery” is a photographic series designed so that the images, when viewed together in sequence form a piece of visual poetry, where each photo is like a verse. Short accompanying texts add an allegorical dimension to each image.
This is the second of 11 pictures. The series reads like the following:
(1) We enter Paris, (2) embrace its monuments, (3) discover its picturesque neighborhoods, (4) its grandeur. (5) Its resilience during… dark times (6) maintains the balance of various divergences. (7) At exceptional moments, it reveals that it can (8) deviate from the established path, (9) metamorphose, and then (10) find the way back to new horizons (11) just like in a movie.
The photograph is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm fine art paper using EPSON UltraChrome Pro pigment ink, framed in a solid black wood frame (3 cm) with natural white mat (framed artwork: 60 x 70 cm).
